Our client is a UK market leader in business rescue and recovery and professional business services provider.  Listed on the London Stock Exchange and employing more than 550 staff across a network of 45 UK offices they have developed a market-leading reputation for their services.

These services include; independent professional advice and solutions in corporate recovery and restructuring as well as corporate finance, forensic accounting, investigations and risk consulting. They also provide expert advice on issues such as; due diligence services, property consultancy and strategy through their property division, across the length and breadth of the UK.

Due to business growth and in order to strengthen their resource, they are now recruiting for the following position:

Marketing Administrator – Central Manchester – Monday – Friday 36.25 hrs

This is to join their established and experienced professional central Marketing and Business Development function in the Manchester office and will be to provide general administration support to the team. Reporting to the Business Development Director, we are looking for an experienced, professional administrator who has excellent organisational skills, a strong work ethic and eye for detail and ideally has experience within a professional services environment.  Whilst you are in the Marketing department, it is a pure administration role and not likely to progress into a more marketing position.

The main responsibilities of the role will include:

CRM/Database Management

  • Co-ordinate and support data maintenance activities
  • Build marketing distribution lists in line with marketing activities


  • Diary management, particularly for Business Development Partner
  • Arranging meetings
  • Travel arrangements


  • Handling website enquiries – new and existing business enquiries
  • Administration of e-marketing communications
  • Managing marketing intranet updates

Marketing Literature

  • Liaison with graphic designer on production of marketing literature
  • Co-ordinate distribution of marketing literature both internally and externally

Event Support

  • Venue research and liaison
  • Production of event invites
  • Event preparation – production of presentations, seminar materials, badges etc
  • Attendance and support at specific events

Promotional items

  • Co-ordination for the ordering and branding of all promotional items across all offices

Invoicing and Purchase Order Management


Liaison and book sessions with photographer

General administrative duties as and when need dictates

We are looking for:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role and ideally in a busy corporate environment
  • Ability to manage high workloads
  • Experience of working with CRM systems and ideally data cleansing
  • Knowledge/experience of working in a marketing/business development office
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Articulate and confident communicator
  • Meticulous attention to detail and able to meet strict deadlines
  • Professional manner
  • Committed to delivering excellent levels of service at all times
  • Pro-active self-starter
  • Enthusiastic
  • Confident using MS office
