It may be Monday, but there are no blues in the office this morning…
The FCR team are in very high spirits today thanks to the anticipated return of our lovely Ilana! Ilana has returned to work today after a 4 month break travelling around Central and South America.
During her travels Ilana was fortunate enough to visit Mexico, Ecuador, Columbia, Bolivia, Peru, Argentina and Brazil, with the highlight of the trip being a three day jungle trek to Machu Picchu. And although the trip had its challenging moments, Ilana says that if she could go back and do it all again, then she would in a shot.
We appreciate that 4 months is a long time to be away from an office desk, so in order to ease Ilana back into working life we’ve bought her some chocolates (to keep her sweet on her f1rst day back) and a balloon (in case she feels deflated after her travels).
In order to celebrate having one of our own back and to find out all the gossip from the trip of a lifetime, we headed out for a team breakfast before work. We’ve dusted off Ilana’s mug and even written our Spanish quote of the day in homage to Ilana.
